Terms & conditions
I am a solo freelance photographer. Due to my other professional obligations, all bookings are subject to a conflicts check. If a conflict exists, you will be notified of the conflict and a full refund will be issued.
As an apprentice level photographer, I photograph and edit to the best of my abilities with professionalism, quality, and care in mind. Because photography is not my primary occupation, I offer competitive pricing and better value. The perfect photographer for those who seek good photos at an affordable price.
Lastly, due to my primary employment, availability may be limited. Photography services outside of listed availability may be accommodated in advance. Please contact me directly to make arrangements.

FAQ
Is there a military or first responder discount?
Yes, I offer 10% off all services. Please contact me directly for more information.
What is your wedding disclaimer?
- Due to couples being extremely particular with their expectations for their wedding, I am intended to be booked as an affordable second or third photographer - not as the primary photographer. I am intended to supplement the primary photographer with photos from a different perspective to capture your wedding in a more wholistic fashion.
- For those with tight budgets that do not demand perfection and seek to merely capture the wedding essence as best as possible at the most affordable price I may consider being the primary photographer. I know weddings can be expensive and your photographer shouldn't have to be. Please contact me to inquire.
What does "in-home" mean?
In-home simply means photos can be taken inside your residence as is, NOT that a studio imitation will be set up inside your residence to take the photos. Vivid Hour Photography does not provide backdrop or props for sessions. Vivid Hour Photography does not have a mobile studio setup nor creates studio-like photoset at your residence.
How many photos are included and how are they delivered?
Unlike other photographers, there is no predetermined number but rest assured that you will get a generous amount of photos. I tend to take more than I need which means you get more than you expect. I do not charge extra for additional photos and unlike other photographers all photos are edited regardless of how many are ultimately delivered.
Photos are delivered exclusively online for digital download. Prints can be ordered for an additional fee. Images are delivered as JPEG files. RAW files are not included in any package and are not available for purchase.
How long does it take for photos to be delivered?
For personal sessions: Unless expedited, non-wedding galleries are delivered in about 3 weeks. Wedding galleries can take up to 6–8 weeks during peak season. Expedited service can be purchased at additional cost for delivery within 10 days of the event.
For business sessions: Expedited delivery comes standard. Delivered within 7 business days. Rush delivery available within 3 business days for additional fee.
Are all images edited?
Yes. Unlike other photographers who only give limited number of edited photos or batch edit all photos with presets I individually edit every single image delivered to my signature artistic style.
Editing means color correction, exposure adjustment, and cropping in the photographer's signature style. Extensive retouching or object removal is not included.
What is your payment policy and acceptable forms of payment?
Payment is due in full at time of booking. Accept the following forms of payment:
- Credit card/Debit Card
- Bank transfer
- Affirm
- Klarna
What is your rescheduling/cancellation policy?
I understand that sometimes life happens.
Cancellations Policy:
- Within 48 hours after booking - full refund.
- 15 calendar days or more prior to the event - 50% refund.
- Within 14 calendar days of the event - no refund will be issued.
Reschedule:
- Full credit towards a one-time future date based on availability. If the new booking availability cannot be accommodated cancellation policy will take effect as described above.
What if it rains?
For weddings: Unless you cancel your wedding, the show must go on. I'll do my best to capture the moment without damaging my equipment.
For non-wedding outdoor sessions: Most people don’t enjoy being wet and soggy while being photographed. We can communicate to determine next steps up to and including rescheduling to my next available date.
Do you offer video services?
Unfortunately, Vivid Hour Photography does not offer video services at this time.
Why am I being charged sales tax?
The governing rule (Arizona Administrative Code R15-5-150) indicates that the business of taking and supplying images to clients for a fee is considered retail and, thus, taxable under the retail classification whether the photos are delivered physically or digitally. Digital-only delivery does not avoid the tax.
Arizona law requires photographers to collect tax, and in Phoenix the combined rate as of January 2026 is 9.1% (5.6% state + 0.7% Maricopa County + 2.8% City of Phoenix). It is not optional or extra profit. It is collected and passed directly to the state.
